In order to determine what your level is, you will take a short test with our teachers prior to the start of your course. That way we can make sure that you will be in the class that most adapts to your needs.
It consists of two parts: a written one, by filling a quick multiple choice test; and a spoken one, by having a casual conversation in person or via video-call with one of our teachers.
Yes! If after the first or second day of class you feel your current level is too easy/too difficult for you, please let us know. This will, of course, depend on the teachers’ judgment and on course schedule and availability.
Generally, no. However, this depends on the type of course, your learning goals and priorities. If you wish to take a test, we are happy to arrange one for you.
Yes, upon completion of your course and a successful result of the final test, you will receive a certificate of completion indicating the level achieved and the hours studied.
The certificate is valid to prove that you have taken a Spanish course at our school with a certain level, hours and duration, following the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). It is not an official Spanish language certificate.
Yes, but of course we understand that emergencies happen, so in order to receive the certificate of completion you will have to attend at least 75% of your classes.
In order to enroll as a student in our school you must be at least 18 years of age.
No, our courses are not student visa courses at the moment.
Yes, at C2 Barcelona we offer DELE/SIELE preparation courses both privately and in groups (subject to group formation and availability). For more information please check our Spanish Courses.
If you are interested in officially testing your Spanish level, but are unsure on which exam is the right one for you, our team will be happy to assist you in every step of the way. From learning the differences between DELE/SIELE and helping you register for the one that suits you best, to providing you the tips and tools that will help you ensure a successful result of the test.
Yes, all students registered to a DELE/SIELE preparation course at C2 Barcelona will go through exam simulations in class, in order to be fully prepared for the real test. Moreover, if you are not a C2 Barcelona student and simply want to take an exam simulation, you can also book those privately without having to take a course.

Once you have taken the level test and received a course offer that suits you, we will send you an invoice with all the course and payment details. Once the bank transfer has been made your enrollment will be confirmed! (Note: all courses include a non-refundable 40€ enrollment fee which includes administrative costs and class materials.)

At C2 Barcelona we can assist you with a selection of trusted and experienced local hosts and host families that are happy to welcome our students during their studies with us.
Local host accommodation includes a private single room with shared common areas in the home of an experienced local host. Local hosts can be either private individuals or families.
Local host accommodation must be booked for a minimum of 1 week and a maximum of 1 month. Duration must always be connected to the start and end dates of your Spanish course.
No, local host accommodation is an optional and additional service that you must explicitly request, and which is entirely subject to season and availability.
If you are interested in booking accommodation during your stay in Barcelona, please get in touch with us and we will be happy to match you with one of our trusted local hosts. Please note that local host accommodation is exclusively for C2 Barcelona students and your stay must be connected to the start and end dates of your Spanish course.
At C2 Barcelona we only offer assistance with local host accommodation, however, we will be happy to give you recommendations on student dorms, hotels/hostels if you need.
